At Davedon Nigeria Limited, every payment made on our platform passes through us — not directly to the seller. This gives us the ability to protect both buyers and sellers and ensures that refunds can be handled fairly and efficiently when eligible situations arise. This Refund Policy outlines when refunds are issued, how they are processed, and what to expect.

2. Eligible Reasons for a Refund

Davedon will issue a refund under the following circumstances:

  1. Item is damaged or defective — The product arrived broken, faulty, or in a non-functional condition.
  2. Wrong item was delivered — The product received is different from what was ordered.
  3. Order was cancelled before dispatch — The buyer cancelled the order within the allowed window before the item was sent out.
  4. Seller failed to fulfill the order — The seller was unable or unwilling to complete the transaction after payment was made.
  5. Item never arrived — The order was never delivered to the buyer despite payment being confirmed.

Refunds will not be issued for buyers who changed their mind, no longer want the item, or failed to report an issue within the stipulated timeframe.

3. Refund Request Window

All refund requests must be submitted to Davedon Nigeria Limited within 24 hours of receiving your order. Requests made after this period will not be eligible for a refund.

To request a refund, contact us immediately via our website or social media channels with the following:

  1. Your order details and transaction reference
  2. A clear description of the issue
  3. Photo or video evidence where applicable (for damaged, defective, or wrong items)

Once your refund request is reviewed and approved by our team, your refund will be processed and issued within 3 to 5 business days. You will be notified at every stage of the process.

Please note that while we process refunds promptly on our end, the time it takes for funds to reflect in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

Approved refunds will be issued through any of the following methods based on your preference:

  1. Store Wallet — Refund is credited to your Davedon store wallet for use on future purchases.
  2. Bank Transfer — Refund is sent directly to your provided bank account.
  3. Original Payment Method — Refund is reversed back to the payment method used at the time of purchase.

Our team will confirm your preferred refund method when processing your request.

6. Non-Refundable Situations

The following situations do not qualify for a refund:

  1. Refund request made after 24 hours of delivery
  2. Item has been used, altered, or tampered with after delivery
  3. Damage caused by the buyer after receipt
  4. Buyer changed their mind or no longer wants the item
  5. Incorrect delivery address provided by the buyer
