The JBL 2242H is a professional 18-inch low-frequency transducer designed for high-output subwoofer and professional sound reinforcement applications. It features JBL’s Super Vented Gap (SVG) cooling technology, a large motor structure and a 100mm (4-inch) edge-wound aluminum ribbon voice coil for high power handling and reduced power compression.
